11. SMS Communication & Privacy
Blooming Behavioral Health uses SMS (text messaging) to communicate with clients, caregivers, and authorized contacts about appointments, scheduling updates, and other service-related information. SMS messaging is governed by the following terms:
Consent. Consent to receive SMS messages is collected during the intake process, either verbally (with the consent documented in the client’s intake record before any messages are sent) or in writing through our intake forms. We do not send SMS messages to individuals who have not opted in.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your service needs. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from Blooming Behavioral Health. After replying STOP you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.
